WHAT IS ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION (ED)

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to get or maintain an erection adequate for sex. There are many different causes, but ED ultimately occurs when there is too little blood flow into the penis and too much blood flow out.

• Redness in the groin and inner thighs.

• Burning or persistent itchiness

BALANITIS

This is an inflammation of the head of the penis often related to inadequate hygiene in uncircumcised men. When the foreskin becomes involved, the condition is known as balanoposthitis.

 

WHAT CAUSES BALANITIS

 

• A buildup of sweat, debris, exfoliated skin, and bacteria or fungi can occur, resulting in inflammation.

• When the glans is not cleansed appropriately

• Patients with diabetes, penile injury, obesity are often at risk of developing balanitis.

• When the foreskin is not routinely retracted

 

SYMPTOMS

 

• Redness around the head of the penis

• Soreness, itchiness, or irritation

• Lumpy white discharge

• Unpleasant or foul smell

• Difficulty pulling the foreskin back

• Painful urination

• Swelling

• Shiny glans penis

SIMPLE UTI OR ACUTE CYSTITIS

 

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) is an infection of the bladder or lower urinary tract. Symptoms of UTI consist of burning urination, urinary frequency or urgency, and abdominal pain.

 

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF UTI

 

• Burning feeling during urination

• Frequent urination or intense urge to urinate

• Pain or discomfort in the lower stomach or abdomen or lower back

• Cloudy, dark, bloody, or strange-smelling urine

 

COMPLICATED UTI

 

Men with the following conditions are considered complicated: Fever, vomiting, chills, recurrent UTIs, pyelonephritis, history of kidney disease, auto-immune disease.
